We need volunteers on September 10 to help with vision screenings.

Volunteers will act as runners, helping bring students from their classrooms to the vision screening and back. It’s a simple but important way to help keep the screenings running smoothly!

Alice Carlson has specific school supply needs that align with our applied learning curriculum and therefore do not follow the standard FWISD school supply list. Our PTA purchases all school supplies and has them organized in the classrooms before the first day of school. All families are responsible for paying $45 per student.

Pay online: 2026-2027 School Supplies

We are so proud that Alice Carlson achieved the 2025-2027 National PTA School of Excellence designation for our work in the 2025-2027 school year to create an environment where families feel welcomed, included and empowered to support their children’s success. Please click here to find out how you can get involved and support our PTA in the new school year!

It's back-to-school season! Raise money for our school while you get ready for this year! Use code FUNDRAISEACALC and get 20% off (better than the 15% off on-site promotion!) and Minted donates 10% of every eligible purchase back to our PTA!

The 2026-2027 FWISD Volunteer Application & Background Check is LIVE!

Every adult family member who would like to volunteer at Alice Carlson MUST complete this application EVERY YEAR!

If you completed this application for the 2025-2026 school year, you MUST complete it again for the 2026-2027 school year. The Volunteer Application and Background Check is only valid for one school year and must be completed again at the beginning of each new school year.

Please note: If you check in at the front office to volunteer during school hours and you have not completed your volunteer application, the school will not be able to allow you to volunteer.

As communicated in Liz's Coyote News, we have created the

Alice Carlson Family Business Directory.

We hope this page will continue to build a supportive community by sharing all the businesses owned and services provided by our very own Carlson families.

The page is now LIVE on our website! Please go take a look!
