Grades: 2-5

 

Cost: Free

Running Club meets every Wednesday after school and runs a mile around TCU. 

The Carlson Running Club joins the Cowtown C.A.L.F Program and if interested, students will train to run the Cowtown Marathon 5K in February!

The knight school chess club

 

Grades: K-5

*Limited to 25 students

 

Cost: $60/month

*Scholarships available

The Knight School's philosophy, "the chess party," is the perfect way to transform a complete beginner into a devastating chess machine. Students will gather to learn new chess skills and play games of chess with each other.

spanish club

 

Grades: K-5

*Limited to 20 students

 

Cost: $85/month or $715/year

In Spanish Club, Students will learn Spanish words and phrases in the context of fun, interactive stories. Games, activities, and songs will be used to practice vocabulary. A spiral review is incorporated into all lessons to reinforce concepts.

Cost: $100

 

Yoga is a great way to help students develop focus, flexibility, and a sense of calm. Yoga poses can help students build strength and improve their balance, coordination and body awareness.

Cost: $187 + $25 registration fee (1x/year)

Soccer Shots focuses on individual skill, fitness and sportsmanship, providing an opportunity for students to be challenged through fun games and team interaction. Students will also be introduced to competition in a developmentally appropriate manner.

Creative Chemistry:

Science Club brings the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History here for a six-week science and math adventure. "Creative Chemistry" offers hands-on activities which explore some of the amazing chemical properties in the world around us. Students will use different types of chemical properties to experiment and create amazing art.
