Intercultural Festival

Each classroom explores the cultures within their classroom community and determines one to explore deeply.  They spend weeks preparing a classroom exploration of this culture to share with the Carlson community.  We kick off this event with our annual Family Banner Parade.  Each family new to Carlson develops a banner representing them.  The banner hangs in our hallway until the end of their time at Carlson.  Interestingly, we have current students at Carlson who have had a family banner hanging for over 20 years!
